Mega TV (American TV Network)
Mega TV is an American free-to-air television network based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, owned by Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS). The network's flagship is WSBS-TV, a television station licensed to Key West, Florida, with studios also in Miami. History Mega TV was launched on March 1, 2006. Its original slate of programming includes productions aimed to young Hispanic viewers. Mega TV seems to be following the same pattern traced by larger rivals such as the Hispanic Telemundo, Univision and Azteca nearly 25 years ago – creating its own television personalities. In early 2007, the station cut 55 employees to save production costs. A vast majority of locally produced programs such as ''Desvelados'', ''Xpediente'', ''El Noticero'', ''El Vacilon'', ''Entre Fichas'', and ''Mega Especiales'', ''Puerta Astral'' ("''Star Port''") and ''Agenda del Inmigrante'' were supposedly placed on hiatus. MegaTV (Korea)
Genie TV (formerly Olleh TV) is an IPTV service provided by South Korea's main telecom operator KT. It broadcasts VOD including TV programs, movies, children's programs, sports, documentaries and animations. On 4 October 2022, KT rebranded its IPTV service as Genie TV, 11 years after the Olleh TV brand was introduced. MEGA Channel, also known as MEGA TV or just MEGA, is a television network in Greece, that broadcasts a mix of foreign and Greek programming. It is the first and the oldest private television network in Greece. History Mega Channel (1989–2018) Mega is the first private television station to launch in Greece on 20 November 1989 and was the trade name of Teletypos S.A. (Τηλέτυπος A.E.) The channel regularly achieved the top ratings spot in Greece through its varied programming including comedies, dramas, news, current affairs and entertainment shows. Mega TV was Malaysia's first ever subscription-based pay television service. It was incorporated on 18 October 1994 and began transmissions on 1 November 1995 and was operated by Sistem Televisyen Malaysia Berhad (STMB).
