Mega Man (1990 Video Game)
''Mega Man'' is an action-platform video game that was developed by Stephen Rozner, an ex-employee of Capcom U.S.A, and published in 1990 by Hi Tech Expressions for DOS systems. It is the first game in the '' Mega Man'' franchise to be released for home computers. The game had a negative critical response; many reviewers called it one of the worst-ever PC games. Despite this, a sequel titled '' Mega Man 3: The Robots Are Revolting'' was released in 1992. The events of this game are set after those of the original 1987 game and about two weeks before those of ''Mega Man 2''. Gameplay In ''Mega Man'', "Masters" Dyna Man, Sonic Man, and Volt Man can be selected. In each level, the player-character Mega Man fights enemies and obstacles before facing the level's "Robot Master" boss at the level's end. Development Stephen Rozner developed ''Mega Man'' under his company Rozner Labs. Rozner had previous experience working with a Capcom intellectual property, having ported ''S ...

Boss (video Gaming)
In video games, a boss is a significant computer-controlled opponent. A fight with a boss character is commonly referred to as a boss battle or boss fight. Bosses are generally far stronger than other opponents the player has faced up to that point. Boss battles are generally seen at climax points of particular sections of games, such as at the end of a level or stage or guarding a specific objective. A miniboss is a boss weaker or less significant than the main boss in the same area or level, though usually more powerful than the standard opponents and often fought alongside them. A superboss (sometimes 'secret' or 'hidden' boss) is generally much more powerful than the bosses encountered as part of the main game's plot and is often an optional encounter. A final boss is often the main antagonist of a game's story and the defeat of that character usually provides a positive conclusion to the game. A boss rush is a stage where the player faces multiple previous bosses again ...
