McBaine is a village in Boone County, Missouri, United States. It is part of the Columbia, Missouri Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 10 at the 2010 census. McBaine is located just north of Eagle Bluffs Conservation Area and within sight of The Big Tree. History McBaine was laid out in 1899, and named after Turner McBaine, the original owner of the site. Neylan McBaine (born 1977) is an American writer and marketer. As a writer, she focuses on topics related to Mormonism and women, women in Mormonism (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints). She has been published in Patheos.com, PowerofMoms.com, ''Newsweek,'' ''Dialogue: A Journal of Mormon Thought,'' ''Segullah,'' ''Meridian Magazine'' and BustedHalo.com.
