Mercy McAuley High School is an all-girls Catholic high school in the College Hill neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. Sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas, it is one of five all-girls high schools in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cincinnati, enrolling young women from all over the Cincinnati area and parts of Indiana. It is designated a National Blue Ribbon School by the United States Department of Education. Mercy McAuley formed from the 2018 merger of Mother of Mercy High School and McAuley High School and is located at the former McAuley campus. McAuley High School was an all-girls Catholic high school in Toledo, Ohio. It was named for Catherine McAuley, the founder of the Sisters of Mercy. It began classes in 1958 and was one of three all-girls Catholic high schools in the city, the other two being Notre Dame Academy and St. Ursula Academy. The McAuley Lions were members of the Toledo City League and joined . Girls' sports competition between schools had begun in the early 1970s for Toledo high schools. Due to financial problems and low enrollment, McAuley closed its doors at the end of the 1987–88 school year. They intended to have 1,000 students annually, but had a peak of 551 during the 1969–70 school year. McAuley High School (New Zealand)
McAuley High School is a Catholic girls' secondary school in Ōtāhuhu, New Zealand. The school was founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1962 and continues to be run by the order. Students at the school achieve highly compared to the national average and to students at schools with a similar decile rating. Attendance figures are very high compared to most low decile schools because the principal gives this a very high priority. Regular attendance at school is a constant message that is backed up by the local catholic church which stands at over 90%.
