Max King (rugby League)
Max King (born 4 May 1997) is a professional rugby league footballer who plays as a and for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in the NRL. He previously played for the Gold Coast Titans and the Melbourne Storm in the National Rugby League. Background King was born in Huddersfield, England. His great-grandfather, Cec, played for the South Sydney Rabbitohs from 1945 to 1946, his grandfather, Johnny, was a seven-time premiership winner with the St George Dragons and his father, David, played for the Gold Coast Seagulls from 1991 to 1992. Huddersfield
Huddersfield is a market town in the Kirklees district in West Yorkshire, England. It is the administrative centre and largest settlement in the Kirklees district. SG Ball Cup
The S. G. Ball Cup is a junior rugby league football competition played predominantly in New South Wales, between teams made up of players aged under 19. Teams from Canberra and Melbourne (Victoria Thunderbolts) also participate. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic in New South Wales teams from Perth (West Coast Pirates) and Auckland (New Zealand Warriors) also participated. The competition is administered by the New South Wales Rugby League. 2020 NRL Grand Final
The 2020 NRL Grand Final was the conclusive and premiership-deciding game of the 2020 National Rugby League season held at Sydney's ANZ Stadium on October 25. The match was contested between minor premiers Penrith Panthers and second-placed Melbourne Storm. Melbourne led the game 22–0 at half time before holding off a late Penrith comeback to win 26–20, claiming their fourth premiership title. Blake Lawrie (born 10 January 1997) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who plays as a and for the St. George Illawarra Dragons in the NRL. Background Lawrie was born in Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia. St George Illawarra Dragons
The St. George Illawarra Dragons is an Australian professional rugby league football club, representing both the Illawarra and St George regions of New South Wales. The club has competed in the National Rugby League since 1999 after a joint-venture was formed between the St. George Dragons (est. 1921) and the Illawarra Steelers (est. 1982). They officially formed as the game's first joint-venture club on 23 September 1998 and it remains the only inter-city team in the NRL. Jason Ryles
Jason Ryles (born 17 January 1979 in Wollongong, New South Wales) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 2000s and 2010s. A New South Wales State of Origin and Australia national representative forward, he played in the National Rugby League for the St. George Illawarra Dragons before going to the Super League and playing for French club Catalans Dragons. Ryles returned to Australia and played for the Sydney Roosters before finishing his career at the Melbourne Storm. AAMI Park
The Melbourne Rectangular Stadium, known as AAMI Park for sponsorship reasons, is an outdoor sports stadium on the site of Edwin Flack Field in the Sports and Entertainment Precinct in the Melbourne central business district. The 2019 Melbourne Storm season is the 22nd in the club's history. They are competing in the 2019 NRL season. The team is coached by Craig Bellamy, coaching the club for his 17th consecutive season.
