Maven Screen Media is an American film production company founded by Trudie Styler and Celine Rattray as Maven Pictures in 2011. It is based in New York City. Collaborations and deals In February 2016, it was announced that Freckle Films has linked a first look overhead deal with Maven Pictures. Maven will provide development funds and cover overhead costs to acquire IP for Freckle and Maven to jointly produce. In July 2020, it was announced that Maven Pictures had been renamed Maven Screen Media. In August 2020, the company received an investment from the UK Creative Content Enterprise Investment Scheme, EIS Fund, as it looks to focus more on UK film, television and digital projects. Trudie Styler
Trudie Styler (born 6 January 1954) is an English actress and film producer. Early life and family Styler was born in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, the daughter of Pauline and Harry Styler, a farmer and factory worker. When Styler was two years old, she was hit by a van. She received severe facial injuries that left her badly scarred and required several plastic surgery operations up until the age of 18. Her classmates nicknamed her "scarface", which caused her to feel for many years that she was "not a very attractive person". She attended North Bromsgrove High School, where one of her teachers was the singer-songwriter Clifford T. Ward. James Miranda Barry
James Barry (born Margaret Anne Bulkley (or Bulkeley), – 25 July 1865) was a military surgeon in the British Army. Originally from the city of Cork in Ireland, Barry obtained a medical degree from the University of Edinburgh Medical School, then served first in Cape Town, South Africa, and subsequently in many parts of the British Empire. Before retirement, Barry had risen to the rank of Inspector General (equivalent to Brigadier) in charge of military hospitals, the second-highest medical office in the British Army. Alice Marble (September 28, 1913 – December 13, 1990) was an American tennis player who won 18 Grand Slam championships between 1936 and 1940: five in singles, six in women's doubles, and seven in mixed doubles.
