Matías Alonso
Matías Damián Alonso Vallejo (; born 16 April 1985) is a Uruguayan professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Forward (association football), forward for Uruguay Montevideo. Club career Born in Montevideo, Alonso started his career at local Club Atlético River Plate (Montevideo), Club Atlético River Plate, signing with Peñarol in 2005 and not being successful at either club. He moved to Spain subsequently, first with RC Celta de Vigo's Celta de Vigo B, reserves in the country's Segunda División B. Alonso joined Real Murcia in 2007, being immediately loaned to another team in the third division, UD Ibiza-Eivissa, SE Ibiza-Eivissa. He appeared rarely for the main squad after returning, spending most of his spell with Real Murcia Imperial, the B side. After 2009–10 Segunda División, Murcia's relegation from Segunda División, Alonso joined Granada CF in July 2010. Club Atlético Juventud is a sports club from Las Piedras, Canelones in Uruguay. CA Juventud won promotion to the Primera División Uruguaya to start in August 2007. History The club was born from a group of youths from Las Piedras, Uruguay who played soccer at San Isidro Catholic school. On December 24, 1935 the boys arrived at school expecting to play (as always having arranged the match the day before), but when they got there the priests had forbidden it as they were preparing a big nativity crèche set on the field. Angry, the students, among them Carlos Maria Cabrera (who would later become the first president of the club) met in the town square and decided to found the club on Christmas Eve 1935, in rebellion against the priests. Diego Alonso
Diego Martín Alonso López (; born 16 April 1975) is a Uruguayan professional football head coach and former player who played as a striker. Other than in his own country, he played football in Argentina, Spain, Mexico and China in a 16-year career, notably winning the 2001–02 Segunda División with Atlético Madrid while being crowned top scorer. He represented Uruguay at the 1999 Copa América. Alonso began working as a coach in 2011, being in charge of clubs in Uruguay, Paraguay, Mexico and the United States and leading Pachuca to the 2016 Clausura and the 2016–17 CONCACAF Champions League titles. A transfer window is the period during the year in which a football club can transfer players from other playing staff into their playing staff. Such a transfer is completed by registering the player into the new club through FIFA. "Transfer window" is the unofficial term commonly used by the media for the concept of "registration period" as described in the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players.
