Matthew Wolfenden (born 23 July 1987) is an English association football, footballer who plays as a Forward (association football), striker for team Avro F.C., Avro. Wolfenden started out at Oldham Athletic A.F.C., Oldham Athletic, his hometown club, before moving to Wales to play for Wrexham A.F.C., Wrexham in the summer of 2009. He spent 7 years playing for F.C. United of Manchester, FC United of Manchester before leaving the club in July 2017. Oldham is a large town in Greater Manchester, England, amid the Pennines and between the rivers Irk and Medlock, southeast of Rochdale and northeast of Manchester.
