Matthew Kuhnemann
Matthew Paul Kuhnemann (born 20 September 1996) is an Australian cricketer. He made his List A debut for Cricket Australia XI in the 2017–18 JLT One-Day Cup on 8 October 2017 after being offered a rookie contract for Queensland in the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons. He made his international debut for the Australia cricket team in June 2022. Career Kuhnemann was born in Brisbane and moved to the Gold Coast in his childhood where he attended The Southport School. He began playing cricket at the age of 10 and made his first grade debut for the Gold Coast Dolphins at 17 years of age. In 2014, he played a pivotal role in the First XI GPS Premiership win for TSS, a victory he still considers the favourite memory of his junior career. The Gold Coast District Cricket Club is a cricket club on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia who play in the Queensland Premier Cricket competition. The club was founded in 1990. It has won the Queensland Premier Cricket First Grade Premiership twice, in the 2002/03 and 2008/09 seasons, the competitions One-Day Premiership twice, in 1992/93 and 2009/10, and the Twenty20 Premiership twice in 2009/10 and 2020/21. Mitchell Joseph Swepson (born 4 October 1993) is an Australian cricketer. A leg-spin bowler, he made his international debut for the Australia cricket team in June 2018, and plays for Queensland and the Brisbane Heat in Australian domestic cricket. Ashton Charles Agar (born 14 October 1993) is an Australian cricketer who has played all forms of the game at international level. Agar plays domestically for Western Australia and the Perth Scorchers. A left-handed spin bowling all rounder, he played two Test matches for the Australian national side during the 2013 Ashes series. Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, ( si, පල්ලෙකැලේ ජාත්යන්තර ක්රිකට් ක්රීඩාංගනය, ta, பல்லேகல சர்வதேச கிரிக்கெட் மைதானம்) is a cricket stadium in Kandy, Sri Lanka. The 2020–21 Sheffield Shield season was the 119th season of the Sheffield Shield, the domestic first-class cricket competition in Australia. On 26 June 2020, Cricket Australia confirmed all the squads for the 2020–21 domestic cricket season. Cricket Australia also confirmed that the tournament would use the Kookaburra ball for all the matches, after using the Duke ball since the 2016–17 season. First-class Cricket
First-class cricket, along with List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket, is one of the highest-standard forms of cricket. A first-class match is one of three or more days' scheduled duration between two sides of eleven players each and is officially adjudged to be worthy of the status by virtue of the standard of the competing teams. Matches must allow for the teams to play two innings each, although in practice a team might play only one innings or none at all. 2018–19 Big Bash League Season
The 2018–19 Big Bash League season or BBL, 08 was the eighth season of the KFC Big Bash League, the professional men's Twenty20 domestic cricket competition in Australia. The tournament started on 19 December 2018. Adelaide Strikers were the defending champions. The competition was extended to a full home and away season for the first time, with each team to play each other twice at both a home venue and away venue. This consists of 56 regular season matches, two semi-final fixtures and the final. Twenty20
Twenty20 (T20) is a shortened game format of cricket. At the professional level, it was introduced by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in 2003 for the inter-county competition. In a Twenty20 game, the two teams have a single innings each, which is restricted to a maximum of 20 overs. Together with first-class and List A cricket, Twenty20 is one of the three current forms of cricket recognised by the International Cricket Council (ICC) as being at the highest international or domestic level. A typical Twenty20 game is completed in about two and a half hours, with each innings lasting around 70 minutes and an official 10-minute break between the innings.
