Matthew Hall (born 5 July 1984) is a British professional boxer. He is a former Commonwealth light middleweight champion, having also challenged for the British and European light middleweight titles as well as the British and Commonwealth middleweight titles. Early professional career Hall's professional debut came in September 2002 with a win over boxing journeyman Pedro Thompson, stopping him in the first round at the MEN Arena in Manchester. His very next fight against the same opponent saw Hall travel to Newcastle in order to beat Thompson again but this time on points over 4 rounds meaning that at the end of his debut year Hall has compiled an unbeaten record of 2-0. Matthew Hall (born July 10, 1997 in Kitchener, Ontario) is a Canadian curler. He currently plays second on Team Rylan Kleiter. He was a member of the 2019 World Junior Curling Championships gold medallist team. Career Juniors In 2013, Hall and his rink of Phil Malvar, Mackenzie Reid and Cody McGhee won the Ontario Bantam Boys Championship. The team went on to represent Ontario at the 2015 Canada Games, where they picked up a silver medal. The following season, Hall joined the Doug Kee junior team at second. The team won the Ontario Junior Championships and represented Ontario at the 2016 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, where they finished with a 5–5 record. Matthew Hall (born 1 May 1967) is a British screenwriter and novelist. He is sometimes credited as M. R. Hall. Education Hall was educated at Hereford Cathedral School and Worcester College, Oxford (1985–88) where he graduated in law. He was called to the Bar in 1990 and practised as a barrister at 5, King's Bench Walk before becoming a full-time writer in 1995.
