Matthew David Bell (born 25 February 1977) is a former New Zealand international cricketer. He played domestic cricket for Wellington cricket team, Wellington and Northern Districts men's cricket team, Northern Districts between 1993 and 2011 and played in 18 Test cricket, Test matches and seven One Day Internationals for New Zealand national cricket team, the national team. He is the assistant coach of the New Zealand women's national cricket team. Domestic career He made his first-class debut for Northern Districts men's cricket team, Northern Districts against a New Zealand Academy side on 9 March 1994, playing in the middle order and scoring 14 and 10. Matthew Bell (footballer)
Matthew Bell (born 3 January 1992) is a British Virgin Islands international footballer who plays as a midfielder for English side Hanley Town. He came through the youth team at Port Vale, and has played for Mansfield Town, Stafford Rangers, Leek Town, Solihull Moors, Kidsgrove Athletic, Nantwich Town and Hanley Town. Club career Bell came through the youth team at Port Vale and turned professional with the League Two club under Micky Adams in April 2010. However, he failed to make a first team appearance at Vale Park and was released in May 2011. He signed a one-year contract with Conference National club Mansfield Town in June 2011. Manager Paul Cox stated that "He has a lovely left foot, is tenacious, has high fitness levels and can play at left-back, left-midfield and even in central midfield". Matthew Bell (born 30 August 1981 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 2000s and 2010s. Bell primarily played in the second row, but most of his appearances were started from the bench. Playing career Bell played his junior football for Brothers St. Brendan's JRLFC and previously played for Souths Logan Magpies in the Queensland Cup. He made his NRL debut in round 11 of the 2006 season against the Parramatta Eels at CUA Stadium. In the 2007 NRL season, Bell played ten games as Penrith finished last on the table and claimed the wooden spoon. Mathew Bell (1769 – June 24, 1849) was a seigneur, businessman and political figure in Lower Canada. His first name is also sometimes recorded as Matthew. He was born at Berwick-upon-Tweed in England, the son of James Bell, a merchant of 'gentry stock' who served two terms as the town's Mayor.A place by itself: Berwick-upon-Tweed in the eighteenth century. By David Brenchley, 1997 Bell came to Quebec around 1784 and worked as a clerk for merchant John Lees. In 1790, he started an importing business in partnership with David Monro; they owned a store at Quebec and their own ships. When John Lees retired from business in 1791, they became agents for Alexander and George Davison, who were suppliers to the British troops in North America.
