Matt White (ice Hockey)
Matt White (born August 23, 1989) is an American professional ice hockey player. He is currently playing under contract with Grizzlys Wolfsburg of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). Playing career In 2007 the native Californian began his junior career playing for the Omaha Lancers in the United States Hockey League (USHL). In the 2009–10 USHL season he was named the Player of the year as well as the most successful goal scorer in the league. White went on to play NCAA hockey for the Omaha Mavericks from 2010 to 2013. In 2013–14 season, White played in the ECHL for the Ontario Reign. During his professional rookie season he earned with 57 points the most successful player from his team. Within the same period White also played for the U. S. National Inline Team at the IIHF Inline Hockey World Championship. Grizzlys Wolfsburg are a professional ice hockey club of the Germany, German professional ice hockey league Deutsche Eishockey Liga. They play their games at Eisarena Wolfsburg, Eisarena in Wolfsburg. History Wolfsburg earned their first promotion to the DEL in 2004. However after one season, they were relegated back to 2nd Bundesliga (ice hockey), 2.Bundesliga due to their arena not meeting league standards. In 2006, Eisarena Wolfsburg opened, allowing the club to return to the DEL, where they have remained since. The 2016–17 AHL season was the 81st season of the American Hockey League. The regular season began on October 14, 2016, and ended on April 15, 2017. The 2017 Calder Cup playoffs began on April 20, 2017. Regular season The AHL had a slight alignment shift with the addition of the Tucson Roadrunners to the one-year-old Pacific Division, bringing the division member total up to eight. American Hockey League
The American Hockey League (AHL) is a professional ice hockey league based in the United States and Canada that serves as the primary Minor league#Ice hockey, developmental league for the National Hockey League (NHL). The Manchester Monarchs were a professional ice hockey team in the ECHL which began play in the 2015–16 season. Based in Manchester, New Hampshire, and affiliated with the National Hockey League's Los Angeles Kings, the team played its home games at the SNHU Arena. The 2014 IIHF Inline Hockey World Championship was the 19th IIHF Inline Hockey World Championship, an international inline hockey tournament run by the International Ice Hockey Federation. The World Championship ran alongside the 2014 IIHF Inline Hockey World Championship Division I tournament and took place between 1 and 7 June 2014 in Pardubice, Czech Republic.
