Matt Mumme
Matthew Clay Mumme (born May 15, 1975) is an American college football coach who is currently the quarterbacks coach and associate head coach for the Colorado State Rams. He was head coach of the LaGrange Panthers from 2013 to 2016. Coaching career Mumme was head coach of NCAA Division III LaGrange from 2013 to 2016. LaGrange led the USA South Athletic Conference in passing in all three of his full seasons as head coach, averaging 339.1 passing yards per game. Mumme was hired as Nevada's offensive coordinator following the conclusion of the 2016 season at LaGrange. He coached under head coach Jay Norvell and helped develop quarterback Carson Strong into a two-time Mountain West Conference Offensive Player of the Year and NFL Draft prospect. Colorado State Rams Football
The Colorado State Rams football program (established 1893) represents Colorado State University and is a member of the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision and the Mountain West Conference. Since joining the Mountain West, the Rams have been conference champions or co-champions in 1999, 2000 and 2002. The Rams have long-standing rivalries with Colorado, Wyoming, and Air Force. NCAA Division III
NCAA Division III (D-III) is a division of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. D-III consists of athletic programs at colleges and universities that choose not to offer athletic scholarships to their student-athletes. The NCAA's first split was into two divisions, the University and College Divisions, in 1956, the College Division was formed for smaller schools that did not have the resources of the major athletic programs across the country. The College Division split again in 1973 when the NCAA went to its current naming convention: Division I, Division II, and Division III. Division III schools are not allowed to offer athletic scholarships, while D-II schools can. Division III is the NCAA's largest division with around 450 member institutions, which are 80% private and 20% public. Todd Mooney
Todd Mooney (born June 13, 1965) is an American athletic director and former college football and baseball coach. He is the athletic director for St. Pius X Catholic High School in Atlanta, a position he has held since 2018. He was the first head football coach at LaGrange College in LaGrange, Georgia, from 2006 until midway through the 2013 season. He also coached for Ohio, Urbana, Oberlin, Rhodes, and King's Ridge Christian School. In 2008, Mooney led LaGrange to a 9–2 record and a Saint Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) championship after two consecutive 0–10 seasons. Hal Clay Mumme (born March 29, 1952) is a former American football coach and former player. He most recently served as an offensive advisor for the Dallas Renegades of the XFL. Carson Brown Strong (born September 14, 1999) is a former American football quarterback who is currently an assistant quarterback coach for the Nevada Wolf Pack. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Philadelphia Eagles in , and also played for the Michigan Panthers of the United States Football League (USFL). He played college football at Nevada. Early years Strong was born on September 14, 1999, in Vacaville, California. He later attended Will C. Wood High School, where he passed for 2,732 yards and 26 touchdowns as a junior. Merritt James Norvell III (born March 28, 1963) is an American college football coach and former player who is currently the head coach for the Colorado State Rams. Norvell served as the head football coach at University of Nevada, Reno from 2017 to 2021.
