''Masterminds'' is a direct to DVD film starring Tila Tequila, Nick Hogan, and Tray Chaney directed by David Keary. Plot summary When a businessman's plot to steal from criminals goes south, he learns that he stole from the wrong guy, and when a dangerous drug cartel shows up, all hell breaks loose. A businessman (Trey Chaney) uses his nightclub to target criminals for theft, but gets double crossed by his long-suffering girlfriend (Tila "Tequila" Nguyen) after using her as the bait. Nguyễn Thị Thiên Thanh (born October 24, 1981), better known by her stage names Tila Tequila, Tila Nguyen, Miss Tila and Tornado Thien, is an American television and social media personality. She first gained recognition for her active presence on social networking websites. After becoming the most popular person on Myspace, Tequila was offered the opportunity to star in her own reality television series. Her bisexuality-themed dating show, ''A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila'' (2007), aired for two seasons and became MTV's second highest-rated series premiere of that year. Tray Chaney is an American actor. He appeared on the HBO program ''The Wire'' as Poot Carr, which became his most successful acting role. He also appears in the Bounce TV soap opera Saints & Sinners as Kendrick. Career Chaney began his entertainment career as a dancer at the age of four winning competitions at the Apollo Theater.
