''Mastermind'' is the second studio album by the British singer Tina Cousins. It was released on 13 September 2005 via Big Records label. It entered the Australian ARIA Album Charts and peaked at #48. Cousins has said of the album, "The album is cooler than '' Killing Time'', there's a couple more ballads and a reworked version of one of my older tracks, but my favourite is definitely the title track "Mastermind"." The album includes the singles, "Hymn", " Wonderful Life", "Come to Me" and "Pretty Young Thing". An album is a collection of audio recordings issued on compact disc (CD), vinyl, audio tape, or another medium such as digital distribution. Tina Patricia Cousins (born 20 April 1974) is an English singer, songwriter and former model. She has had five singles in the Top 20 of the UK Singles Chart, both as a solo artist and in collaboration with others, including " Mysterious Times" with Sash!, which reached number 2 in the UK in 1998. She has also achieved popularity in several other countries, including four Top 30 hits in Sweden, six Top 30 hits in Australia and seven Top 20 hits in Finland. ''Killing Time'' is the first album by the British singer Tina Cousins. Released in the United Kingdom on 12 July 1999, it was produced by Pete Waterman with co-production by Mark Topham and Karl Twigg. The album contained the song "Pray", which was released in the United States soon after its rapid success in both the United Kingdom and Australia. However, the single did not make an impact on American radio until late 2006, when it was added to the music databases of a few rhythmic/ dance format stations. Wonderful Life (Black Song)
"Wonderful Life" is a song by the English singer Black from his 1987 album ''Wonderful Life''. The song was released twice as a single and was successful the second time, becoming a top ten hit in Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the UK. Black, who wrote the song while broke, commented: "I was really being ironic... Most people took it at face value." Single release First released in 1986 by Ugly Man Records, it initially peaked at no. 72 on the UK Singles Chart. Colin Vearncombe (26 May 1962 – 26 January 2016), known by his stage name Black, was an English singer-songwriter. He emerged from the punk rock music scene and achieved mainstream pop success in the late 1980s, most notably with the 1986 single " Wonderful Life", which was an international hit the next year. William Ruhlmann of AllMusic described Vearncombe as a "smoky-voiced singer/songwriter, whose sophisticated jazz-pop songs and dramatic vocal delivery place him somewhere between Bryan Ferry and Morrissey". Chris Cross (born Christopher Thomas Allen, 14 July 1952, Tottenham, London) is an English musician, best known as the bass guitarist in the new wave band Ultravox. Biography Early years Cross went to Belmont Secondary Modern School, William Forster Comprehensive.
