MasterChef (US TV Series)
''MasterChef'' is an American competitive cooking reality television series that premiered on Fox Broadcasting Company, Fox on July 27, 2010. Based on the MasterChef (British TV series), British series of the same name and produced by Endemol Shine North America and Optomen, One Potato Two Potato, the series features amateur and home chefs competing to win the title of 'MasterChef'. The current line-up of judges consists of Gordon Ramsay, Joe Bastianich, and Aarón Sánchez (chef), Aarón Sánchez. A twelfth season, subtitled ''MasterChef: Back to Win, Back to Win'', aired May–September 2022. In September 2022, the series was renewed for a thirteenth season. The season is set to premiere in summer 2023 with Ramsay, Sánchez, and Bastianich all set to return as judges. Wolfgang Johannes Puck (born July 8, 1949) is an Austrian-American chef and restaurateur. Early life and career Puck was born in Sankt Veit an der Glan, Austria. He learned cooking from his mother, who was a pastry chef. He took the surname of his stepfather, Josef Puck, after his mother's remarriage. The marriage produced two younger sisters and a younger brother for Wolfgang.
