Master's Futbol Academy, commonly known as Master's FA, is a Canadian semi-professional soccer club based in Scarborough, Toronto, Ontario. The club was founded in 2009 as a soccer academy and added its team in the semi-professional League1 Ontario, the third tier in the Canadian soccer league system. The club was one of the ten original founding men's teams in League1 Ontario, which was established in 2014. Their team initially competed under the name Master's FA Saints. History In 2009, Master's Futbol Academy was founded by Junior Groves. In 2014, the semi-professional club was established to play in the newly formed League1 Ontario as one of the founding members. They were one of the three Ontario Soccer Association Recognized Non-Club Academies permitted to enter a team in the league, along with ANB Futbol and Sigma FC. Scarborough (; 2021 Canadian census, 2021 Census 629,941) is a district of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is situated atop the Scarborough Bluffs in the eastern part of the city. 2021 Canadian Championship
The 2021 Canadian Championship was the fourteenth edition of the Canadian Championship, contested from August 15 to November 21, 2021. The winners of the tournament, CF Montréal, were awarded the Voyageurs Cup and earned a berth in the 2022 CONCACAF Champions League. Format The competition follows a similar format to the originally proposed 2020 edition with four rounds and regional pairings in the first two rounds. For the first time in the Canadian Championship, each tie will be played as a single-leg fixture. CF Montréal, Forge FC, and Toronto FC enter the tournament in the quarter-finals due to their placements in the 2019 and 2020 editions of the competition. Kiril Dimitrov (footballer)
Kiril Dimitrov ( bg, Kирил Димитров; born 21 January 1985) is a Bulgarian footballer who is currently playing with Scarborough SC in the Canadian Soccer League. Aside from being an active player he also serves as the general manager for Scarborough SC. Playing career Dimitrov began his career in 2004 with Makedonska Slava and later played with PFC Pirin Blagoevgrad and FC Septemvri Simitli. In 2007, he played in the Bulgarian A Football Group with PFC Belasitsa Petrich. He played with the club for two seasons. After Belasitsa was relegated to the Bulgarian B Professional Football Group he went overseas to Canada to sign with the Serbian White Eagles of the Canadian Soccer League. He made his debut for the club on 22 May 2009 in a match against Portugal FC. Shawn Brown (soccer)
Shawn Brown (born February 27, 1987) is a Jamaican-born former soccer player who played as a midfielder and defender. Career Early career Brown began playing with the Toronto-based Serbian White Eagles in the interprovincial Canadian Soccer League in 2010. After a single season with the Serbs, he signed with expansion franchise Mississauga Eagles. He would record his first goal for the club on June 17, 2011, against London City. The Eagles would successfully secure a postseason berth by finishing seventh in the First Division. Shaquille Agard
Shaquille Agard (born December 7, 1993) is a Guyanese soccer player who plays as a forward for Canadian Soccer League club Serbian White Eagles FC. College career He began playing for the Centennial Colts. In 2016, Agard began playing for the George Brown Huskies. In his first year, he scored nine goals to help them to a provincial bronze medal and also helped the Huskies win the OCAA indoor championship, being named indoor MVP as well as the George Brown Male Athlete of the Year. 2022 League1 Ontario Season
The 2022 Men's League1 Ontario season was the eighth season of play for League1 Ontario, a Division 3 men's soccer league in the Canadian soccer pyramid and the highest level of soccer based in the Canadian province of Ontario. Vaughan Azzurri defeated Blue Devils FC in the final to win the league championship and qualified for the 2023 Canadian Championship. Guelph United F.C. represented the league in the 2022 Canadian Championship, as they were the 2021 league champions. The 2020 Men's League1 Ontario season would have been the seventh season of play for League1 Ontario (L1O), a Division 3 men's soccer league in the Canadian soccer pyramid and the highest level of soccer based in the Canadian province of Ontario. For the first time this year, the league's entry in the 2021 Canadian Championship, the top national tournament for men's soccer teams, was to be determined by a "Champions Final", to be played between the regular season champions and the playoff champions. The 2018 Men's League1 Ontario season was the fifth season of play for League1 Ontario, a Division 3 men's soccer league in the Canadian soccer pyramid and the highest level of soccer based in the Canadian province of Ontario.
