Masoom (1983 Film)
''Masoom'' () is the directorial debut of Shekhar Kapur. It is an adaptation of the 1980 novel ''Man, Woman and Child'' by Erich Segal which was also adapted into a Malayalam movie ''Olangal'' and an American movie ''Man, Woman and Child''. The film stars Naseeruddin Shah and Shabana Azmi in lead roles along with Tanuja, Supriya Pathak and Saeed Jaffrey. It features Jugal Hansraj, Aradhana and Urmila Matondkar as child actors. The screenplay, dialogues and lyrics are by Gulzar with music by R.D. Burman. The film has been remade into a Telugu movie named '' Illalu Priyuralu'' and in Turkish as ''Bir Akşam Üstü''. Shekhar Kapur
Shekhar Kulbhushan Kapur (born 6 December 1945) is an Indian filmmaker and actor. Born into the Anand-Sahni family, Kapur is the recipient of several accolades, including a BAFTA Award, a National Film Award, a National Board of Review Award and three Filmfare Awards, in addition to nomination for a Golden Globe Award. Kapur became known in Bollywood with his recurring role in the television series '' Khandaan''. ''Illalu Priyuralu'' is an Indian Telugu-language drama film released on 2 August 1984. The film directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy is a remake of the Bollywood film Masoom, which was adapted from the 1980 novel Man, Woman and Child by Erich Segal. The novel had two other film adaptations: the 1983 American film of the same title and the 1982 Malayalam film Olangal. Illalu Priyuralu was produced by G. Filmfare Critics Award For Best Film
The Filmfare Critics Award for Best Film is awarded during annual Filmfare Awards, given by the Filmfare magazine. Bhupinder Singh (born Bhupinder Soin, 6 February 1940 – 18 July 2022) was an Indian musician, a ghazal singer and also a Bollywood playback singer. Early life Bhupinder Singh was born in Amritsar, Punjab to Natha Singhji, a musician and his introducer to music. Bhupinder's father was a stern teacher, and at one point, he detested music and its instruments. Suresh Ishwar Wadkar (born 7 August 1955) is an Indian playback singer. He performs in both Hindi and Marathi films.
