Marvin Peersman
Marvin Peersman (born 10 February 1991) is a Belgian professional Association football, footballer who plays as a left-back for Dutch club FC Groningen, Groningen. Club career Peersman began his professional football club career in 2009 at KSK Beveren, Beveren as a 17-year-old before signing for Royal Antwerp FC, Royal Antwerp in 2010 and in 2012 Peersman signed for FC Dordrecht. After that, he played for Cambuur and Hapoel Tel Aviv in Israel. He signed a contract with PAS Giannina F.C., PAS Giannina on 7 August 2020. On 30 January 2022, he scored his first goal with the club in all competitions in a 2–0 home win game against Apollon Smyrnis F.C., Apollon Smyrnis. The Eerste Divisie (, en, First Division) is the second-highest tier of football in the Netherlands. It is linked with the top-level Eredivisie and with the third-level Tweede Divisie via promotion/relegation systems. The 2011–12 season of the Belgian Second Division (also known as EXQI League for sponsorship reasons) started in August 2011 and is the second tier football league in Belgium. The league is played by 18 teams, with 34 matchdays of 9 matches each, so each team plays the 17 other teams twice.
