Martin Riley (footballer)
Martin James Riley (born 5 December 1986) is an English footballer who plays for side Hednesford Town, where he plays as a defender. Playing career Wolverhampton Wanderers Riley began his career at the age of thirteen with his home-town club Wolverhampton Wanderers. In March 2005, he signed a professional contract with the club but was released in December 2007 without making a single first-team appearance. Shrewsbury Town Riley had a short spell with Shrewsbury Town in 2008, but once again didn't feature in the first team. Kidderminster Harriers He joined Kidderminster Harriers in the Conference National division in the summer of 2008 where he spent two seasons, he often linked up with fellow centre back Mark Creighton with whom nothing was won trophy wise at Aggborough. The Football Association Challenge Trophy, commonly known as the FA Trophy, is a men's football knockout cup competition run by and named after the English Football Association and competed for primarily by semi-professional teams. The competition was instigated in 1969 to cater to those non-league clubs that paid their players and were therefore not eligible to enter the FA Amateur Cup. Jake Carl Speight (born 28 September 1985) is an English former professional footballer who played as a striker. He now works as a football agent. Starting his career working through the Sheffield United youth team, in 2005 he signed with Scarborough, and later Bury. He dropped down to Conference football between 2007 and 2010, playing for Northwich Victoria, Farsley Celtic, Droylsden, and Mansfield Town. In 2010, he was signed by Bradford City, and was quickly sent out on loan to Port Vale, before signing permanently for Wrexham the following year. He returned to Mansfield Town in July 2012, and helped the club to the Conference Premier title in 2012–13. He was loaned out to Alfreton Town in October 2013.
