Martin McGrath (Gaelic Footballer)
Martin McGrath is a Gaelic footballer who plays for the Ederney St Joseph's club and was a member of the Fermanagh county team from 1999 to 2013. Playing career McGrath made his debut for the Ederney senior team in 1995, aged just fourteen. On St Patrick's Day 1999, McGrath played in midfield for St Michael's College, Enniskillen in the MacRory Cup final against St Colman's College, Newry, scoring a point in the 4-11 to 0-12 win. McGrath made his Fermanagh debut under Pat King in the winter of 1999, and was a substitute on the team that won the All-Ireland B title in 2000. McGrath captained Queen's University Belfast to two consecutive Sigerson Cup finals in 2004 and 2005, but lost on both occasions to IT Sligo. McGrath's career highlight was the All Star he received in 2004. He also won a senior and intermediate championship with his club and a Railway Cup with Ulster. 2008 Dr McKenna Cup
The 2008 Dr McKenna Cup was a Gaelic football competition played under the auspices of Ulster GAA. The tournament was won by Down. They defeated Derry in the final. Down won despite not winning any of their games in the 2007 edition of the competition, and also had not won any of their games in the 2007 National Football League. Summary In 2008, the competition was compacted entirely into the month of January. This led to several considerations for all participants, because the students in the university teams had exams in January, while the county teams, who would not have played together for up to six months, had to play three matches in a week. 2020 Fermanagh Senior Football Championship
The 2020 Fermanagh Senior Football Championship was the 114th edition of the Fermanagh GAA's premier club Gaelic football tournament for senior clubs in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. The tournament consists of eight teams. The championship had a straight knock-out format (the format was not changed in spite of the COVID-19 pandemic). The draw for the championship was made on 29 June 2020. Derrygonnelly Harps were the defending champions, seeking their sixth title in a row. Full-forward is a position in Australian rules football and Gaelic football with a key focus on kicking goals. The Coleman Medal is awarded to the player, often a full-forward, who has kicked the most goals in an Australian Football League season. Testicular Cancer
Testicular cancer is cancer that develops in the testicles, a part of the male reproductive system. Symptoms may include a lump in the testicle, or swelling or pain in the scrotum. Treatment may result in infertility. Risk factors include an undescended testis, family history of the disease, and previous history of testicular cancer. More than 95% are germ cell tumors which are divided into seminomas and nonseminomas. Other types include sex-cord stromal tumors and lymphomas. Diagnosis is typically based on a physical exam, ultrasound, and blood tests. Surgical removal of the testicle with examination under a microscope is then done to determine the type. Testicular cancer is highly treatable and usually curable. Treatment options may include surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, or stem cell transplantation. Backhoe
A backhoe—also called rear actor or back actor—is a type of excavating equipment, or digger, consisting of a digging bucket on the end of a two-part articulated arm. It is typically mounted on the back of a tractor or front loader, the latter forming a "backhoe loader" (a US term, but known as a " JCB" in Ireland and the UK). The International Rules Series is a senior men's international rules football competition between the Australia international rules football team (selected by the Australian Football League) and the Ireland international rules football team (selected by the Gaelic Athletic Association). Ulster Senior Football Championship
The Ulster Senior Football Championship is an inter-county competition for Gaelic football teams in the province of Ulster. It is organised by the Ulster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) and begins in early May. The final is usually played on the third Sunday in July. All nine Ulster counties participate. It is regarded as hardest to win of the four provincial football championships.
