Martin Hyder
Martin Hyder (born 1961) is an English people, English actor and writer. Profile Hyder was educated at Abingdon School leaving in 1980. He has worked closely with the BBC since 2000 contributing and appearing in BBC Radio and BBC Television. His television credits include The Lenny Henry Show, The Omid Djalili Show, Harry & Paul, Ruddy Hell! It’s Harry and Paul, Harry Hill's TV Burp and he has appeared on many successful BBC radio shows. In addition he has appeared on stage and in film, most recently he had a role in the 2014 film Edge of Tomorrow and performed on stage in the plays 'Dead Dog in a Suitcase' in 2015 and 'My Brilliant Friend' at the Rose Theatre, Kingston in 2017. How Do You Want Me?
''How Do You Want Me?'' is a British television sitcom, produced by Kensington Films & Television, written by Simon Nye, and directed by John Henderson. Plot Dylan Moran starred as boy next door Ian Lyons, who recently eloped with country girl Lisa Yardley (Charlotte Coleman). At the show's start, after a year living in London they move to the village of Snowle, where her intimidating father (Frank Finlay) breeds turkeys. He and most of Lisa's family (which included Emma Chambers as her sister and Peter Serafinowicz as her thuggish brother) take a strong dislike to Ian, and much of the comedy comes from how Ian copes with life with her family and village life in general. ''Ed Reardon's Week'' is a sitcom on BBC Radio 4 recorded semi-naturalistically in the style of a radio drama. ''Clare in the Community'' is a British radio comedy series, broadcast on BBC Radio 4, starring Sally Phillips as Clare. ''Harry Hill's Fruit Corner'' was a radio show broadcast on BBC Radio 4 in the United Kingdom. It ran for four series between 1993 and 1997. The series starred Harry Hill, Al Murray, Burt Kwouk and Martin Hyder, and was the predecessor for Hill's breakthrough television series, ''Harry Hill''. Background Hill achieved his big breakthrough in August 1992 when he won the Perrier Award for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The show was commissioned shortly after he received the award. ''Fruit Corner'' ran for four series on BBC Radio 4. ''The Sunday Format'', "BBC Radio 4's first high-quality weekend broadsheet newspaper", is a British satirical radio comedy. The programme is a parody of British middle class newspapers, in particular the lifestyle supplements and glossy celebrity magazines that fill Sunday papers. The programme consists of a series of short sketches that dramatise the articles in the eponymous newspaper, with the cast assuming accents to convey the characters of the journalists or columnists. The articles are presented in the format of a British Sunday newspaper, with the copy distributed in columns across the body of the paper, and commonly feature lists of items or instructions. Sketches are broken up, and often use backing music which also stops and starts along with the reading of the column. It ran for two series of six episodes each from July 2001 until July 2002.
