Martin Andersson (born May 9, 1982) is a Swedish football player, currently a free agent. Career Andersson started his career at Enköpings SK. He joined Djurgårdens IF Djurgårdens Idrottsförening, commonly known simply as Djurgårdens IF, Djurgården (), and (especially locally) Djurgår'n (), Dif or DIF – is a Swedish sports association with several sections, located in Stockholm. Name The club is named ... in the beginning of 2008 together with Sebastian Rajalakso, also from Enköpings SK. He made his Allsvenskan debut against IFK Norrköping on March 30, 2008. Due to an injury in the groin, Andersson used painkillers during the spring 2008 to be able to play Djurgården's games. The injury eventually caused too much pain and Andersson did not play for much of the 2008 season. He left on loan to Vasalunds IF in 2009 and returned to Djurgården after the season. In human anatomy, the groin (the adjective is ''inguinal'', as in inguinal canal) is the junctional area (also known as the inguinal region) between the abdomen and the thigh on either side of the pubic bone. This is also known as the medial compartment of the thigh that consists of the adductor muscles of the hip or the groin muscles. A pulled groin muscle usually refers to a painful injury sustained by straining the hip adductor muscles. These hip adductor muscles that make up the groin consist of the adductor brevis, adductor longus, adductor magnus, gracilis, and pectineus.
