''Mars Ravelo's Darna! Ang Pagbabalik'' (), or simply ''Darna! Ang Pagbabalik'', is a 1994 Filipino superhero film based on the Pilipino Komiks character Darna. Directed by Peque Gallaga and Lore Reyes from a screenplay by playwright Floy Quintos, it stars Anjanette Abayari as Narda / Darna, alongside Edu Manzano, BB Gandanghari (credited as Rustom Padilla), Bong Alvarez, Pilita Corrales, Cherie Gil and Lester Llansang. Produced by Viva Family Entertainment, the film was released in June 9, 1994. As of 2023, it is the last ''Darna'' film to be released in theaters, with studios opting instead to produce television shows for the character of Darna in later years. Peque Gallaga
Maurice Ruiz de Luzuriaga Gallaga (August 25, 1943 – May 7, 2020), better known as Peque Gallaga, was a multi-awarded Filipino people, Filipino film-maker. His most significant achievement in film was ''Oro, Plata, Mata'', which he directed after winning a scriptwriting contest sponsored by the Experimental Cinema of the Philippines. He has received an award from the International Film Festival of Flanders-Ghent, Belgium in 1983; a Special Jury Award from the Manila International Film Festival; and the 2004 Gawad CCP Para sa Sining. Education Gallaga spent his elementary and high school years at De La Salle University in Manila, City of Manila, then finished his bachelor's in commerce and liberal arts at the University of St. La Salle in Bacolod, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, Negros Occidental Province, Visayas. Valentina (Philippine Comics)
Valentina is a supervillain created by Mars Ravelo and Nestor Redondo who first appeared in the second episode of the ''Darna'' series published in the Philippine comics ''Pilipino Komiks'' (issue #78, 1950) . One of the most recognizable supervillainess characters in the Philippines, she is the archenemy of Darna. She was originally a bitter, deformed woman born from ordinary human parents with venomous snakes on her head that appears to be like hair. When she grew up, she killed her parents and was subsequently taken in by a serpent creature named Kobra. Valentina was soon referred to as "goddess of the snakes". Mango Comics acquired the rights of Darna and in 2003 released a miniseries featuring Darna and Valentina. In this version, Valentina is an alien from the planet Tiamat. Erik Matti (born December 21, 1970) is a Filipino filmmaker.
