Marcos Aoás Corrêa (born 14 May 1994), known as Marquinhos, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain, which he captains, and the Brazil national team. Mainly a centre-back, he can also play as a right-back or a defensive midfielder. He began his career at Corinthians, and after winning the 2012 Copa Libertadores he moved to Roma for an eventual fee of €3 million. Marquinhos was a regular in his only season as Roma reached the Coppa Italia Final. In July 2013, he moved to Paris Saint-Germain for €31.4 million on a five-year contract, one of the highest fees for a player under the age of 20. Marquinhos played less frequently after the acquisition of compatriot David Luiz in 2014, returning to an integral role after the latter was sold in 2016. Marcus Vinicius Vieira de Souza (born May 31, 1984), commonly known as Marquinhos Vieira, or simply Marquinhos, is a Brazilian professional basketball player. He currently plays with São Paulo FC in the Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB). He also represents the senior Brazilian national team. At a height of 2.07 m (6'9") tall, and a weight of 102 kg (225 lbs.), he can play at both the small forward and power forward positions. Marcos Vinícius dos Santos Gonçalves (born 24 May 1979), known as Marquinhos Santos, is a Brazilian football manager. Career Born in Santos, São Paulo, Santos played youth football for Santos FC as a midfielder, but never played professionally. In 1999 he moved to Curitiba, and started working in a small football school in the city called Sociedade Morgenau. In 2003, Santos joined Atlético Paranaense, being in charge of the youth squads until 2009, when he joined Coritiba's under-20 squad. In 2011 he was appointed manager of the Brazil under-15 national team, and took over the under-17s in the following year, after Emerson Ávila was in charge of the under-20s. Marcos Garbellotto Silveira Pedroso (born 4 October 1993), better known as Marquinhos Pedroso, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a left back.
