Marko Jovanović (; born 21 October 1978) is a Serbian former professional footballer who played as a forward. He is the current sporting director of Vojvodina. Career Jovanović spent five seasons with Vojvodina from 2001 to 2006, making 95 appearances and scoring 20 goals in the First League of Serbia and Montenegro. He also played abroad in China, Poland, Ukraine, Romania and Albania. In November 2014, Jovanović was appointed as sporting director A sporting director, or director of sport, is an executive management position in a sports club. The First League of Serbia and Montenegro () was the top Association football, football league of Serbia and Montenegro, before the country's dissolution in 2006. The league was formed as the First League of FR Yugoslavia following the breakup of Yugoslavia in 1992, effectively succeeding the Yugoslav First League.
