Mark Tucker (born April 29, 1968) is a former American football Lineman (football), lineman. High school career Tucker played High school football, football at Phineas Banning High School, Banning High School in Wilmington, California. He started at offensive tackle his junior and senior year. He was teammates with Jamelle Holieway, Leroy Holt, and Courtney Hall (Rice University). Tucker and Hall were the best offensive tackle tandem in the Marine League that year, with Tucker being only a junior. Tucker was named to the All State Underclass team as a junior. Was named to the ''Daily Breeze'' All Star 1st team as a junior and senior. He was the South Bay Lineman of the year as a senior (1986). Mark Edward Tucker (born 29 December 1957) is an English businessman, best known for his various roles at Prudential plc, where he was the CEO until September 2009. He currently serves as group chairman of HSBC Holdings plc. Early life Mark Tucker started adult life as a trainee professional footballer, making appearances for Wolverhampton Wanderers, Rochdale and Barnet, although he never played a first team match. Career History After retiring from professional football, Tucker studied Business Management at the University of Leeds. He then qualified as an accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mark Tucker (born 16 April 1980) is an English rugby union player. He played Worcester Warriors in the Guinness Premiership. He plays as a centre/wing. At Northampton he was a replacement in the victorious 2000 Heineken Cup Final as they defeated Munster. Tucker signed for Worcester from Northampton in the summer of 2005 after being with the Saints for seven seasons, where he graduated through the Academy. He made his first start for the club against his former team in the Powergen Cup in October and made his league debut again against them at Sixways in January. Born in South Africa, Mark holds a British passport after having spent over fourteen years in the UK and has represented England at U18, 19 and 21 level.
