Mark Ronson
Mark Daniel Ronson (born 4 September 1975) is a British-American DJ, record producer, songwriter, and remixer. He has received seven Grammy Awards, including Grammy Award for Producer of the Year, Non-Classical, Producer of the Year for Amy Winehouse's album ''Back to Black'' (2006) and two for Grammy Award for Record of the Year, Record of the Year singles "Rehab (Amy Winehouse song), Rehab" and "Uptown Funk". Funk
Funk is a music genre that originated in African American communities in the mid-1960s when musicians created a rhythmic, danceable new form of music through a mixture of various music genres that were popular among African Americans in the mid-20th century. It de-emphasizes melody and chord progressions and focuses on a strong rhythmic groove of a bassline played by an electric bassist and a drum part played by a percussionist, often at slower tempos than other popular music. Silk City is a British-American supergroup duo composed of electronic music producers Mark Ronson and Diplo. Allido Records is a record label and production company. The company was started by DJ and producer Mark Ronson and Rich Kleiman, a television, internet and music businessman. The label got its name "Allido" from the Stevie Wonder song "All I Do". Pop Rock
Pop rock (also typeset as pop/rock) is a fusion genre with an emphasis on professional songwriting and recording craft, and less emphasis on attitude than rock music.
