Robert Ellis Scott (June 9, 1921 – January 5, 2006) was an American stage, film and television actor who appeared in over 100 films between 1938 and 1994, according to the Internet Movie Database. Sometimes he was credited as Mark Roberts, Bob Scott, Robert E. Scott, or Robert Scott. Early years A native of Denver, Colorado, Roberts began acting when he was 4, appearing in a play in kindergarten. "The smell of greasepaint got me," he said years later. During his childhood, the family moved to Lakewood, Ohio, and later to Kansas City, Missouri. Mark Roberts (archaeologist)
Mark Brian Roberts (born 20 May 1961) is an English archaeology, archaeologist specialising in the study of the Palaeolithic. He is best known for his discovery and subsequent excavations at the Lower Palaeolithic site of Boxgrove Quarry in southern England. He is also a teacher and Senior Research Fellow of the UCL Institute of Archaeology, Institute of Archaeology at University College London. Born in Chichester, West Sussex, Roberts developed an interest in geology and archaeology at an early age, working at a series of local excavations before going off to study at the then-independent Institute of Archaeology in Bloomsbury, London in 1980. Soon after, he initiated excavations at Boxgrove, West Sussex. Eventually, in 1993 the project unearthed remains belonging to a ''Homo heidelbergensis.'' Mark Roberts (born 28 June 1965) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Sydney Swans, Brisbane Bears and North Melbourne in the Victorian/Australian Football League (VFL/AFL). Nicknamed the "Fridge", he played 18 games in 2 seasons with Sydney Swans, 59 games in four seasons with Brisbane Bears and 125 with the North Melbourne Kangaroos. His height was 189 cm and his weight was 96 kg (formerly 104 kg). He was recruited from the St George Football Club in Sydney. Mark Roberts is a Welsh businessman notable for the purchase of approximately sixty United Kingdom titles as Lord of the Manor or Marcher Lord and his legal claims to historical rights associated with them. In several cases he has attempted to profit from the claimed rights. After having some of his rights revoked by a change of law in 2005, and a ruling that Marcher Lords no longer exist in 2008, Roberts' only standing legal right is to a moiety of wreck off the coast of some areas of Wales. Mark Roberts (born 29 October 1975 in Irvine) is a Scottish football player and coach. Roberts' playing career was mainly based in Scottish football, with spells at Kilmarnock, Falkirk, Airdrieonians, Partick Thistle, St Mirren, Airdrie United and Ayr United. He also had a spell at Shelbourne in the Republic of Ireland. In 2012, Roberts was appointed player/manager of Ayr United, a position he held until his departure from the club in 2014. He then had a stint as head coach of Queen's Park. Playing career Roberts spent his youth career with Bellfield Boys Club in Kilmarnock during the 1991–92 season. Mark Alan Roberts (born 16 October 1983) is an English former professional footballer who played as a defender. Roberts started his career at Crewe Alexandra at the age of 11, and progressed through the club's academy; signing a professional contract at the age of 19. He played six times during his seven years for Crewe's first team, and was sent out on loan six times during his spell at the club. Following a loan spell at his hometown club, Northwich Victoria, he joined the club on a permanent basis in 2007. Roberts played 20 games for the Cheshire club during the second half of the 2006–07 season, before returning to the Football League with Accrington Stanley in summer 2007. Mark Roberts (born 3 November 1967) is a Welsh rock musician, first known as a founding member of Y Cyrff. He then met Cerys Matthews and formed Catatonia along with Paul Jones. Career Roberts claimed for a number of years that he had stumbled across Matthews busking in Cardiff and offered her a guitar string she was missing, which led to their collaboration. The two had actually met busking, and were roommates by the time they formed the band. The string story was later revealed to be a fabrication by the band's publicist. Their split ended their songwriting partnership, and subsequently Roberts was responsible for much of the band's lyrical output.
