Mark Andrew Reynolds (born August 3, 1983) is an American former professional baseball infielder. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Baltimore Orioles, Cleveland Indians, New York Yankees, Milwaukee Brewers, St. Louis Cardinals, Washington Nationals, and two stints with the Colorado Rockies. A right-hander both when batting and throwing, Reynolds was known for his frequent and long home runs, high strikeout totals, and defensive versatility, having been primarily a third baseman before transitioning to first base while playing for the Orioles. The Diamondbacks drafted Reynolds in the 16th round of the 2004 MLB draft from the Cavaliers of the University of Virginia, with whom he played mainly shortstop. In the minor leagues, he played second base, third base, shortstop, and left field. Mark Michael Reynolds (born ) is an Irish professional basketball player playing for the Proveo Merlins of Crailsheim, Germany. The 6'6 forward, from Longford, Ireland played his underage basketball with the Longford Falcons. He attended the University of Aberdeen and represented Scotland in the BUSA Universities tournament in 2005–2007. The Scottish Universities select team won the BUSA basketball tournament in 2007 defeating England in the final, a feat not accomplished in decades. Mark Reynolds (born 7 May 1987) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a defender for Scottish Championship club Cove Rangers. He began his career at Motherwell and has also played for Sheffield Wednesday, Aberdeen and Dundee United. Club career Motherwell Reynolds started his career at hometown club Motherwell and made his debut on 3 May 2006, starting in a 1–0 win over relegated Livingston. He would then sign a two-year contract. The following season, he became a regular in the first team. His first goal came on 30 September 2006, in a 5–0 win over Kilmarnock and he scored his second later in the season in a 3–2 loss against Dundee United on 16 December 2006. In November 2007, Reynolds, along with David Clarkson, signed a contract extension, keeping him at the club until 2011. Red Flag is a synthpop act founded in 1984 in San Diego by brothers Chris and Mark Reynolds. After the death of Mark in 2003, Chris has continued as a solo act since 2007 under the name Red Flag. History Hailing from Liverpool, England, and after growing up there, the brothers moved to locations such as Montreal and Seattle, following their father's itinerant job. In 1979, the family settled in California, arriving first in Los Angeles. The brothers first started playing electronic music in 1982, when Mark Reynolds bought a Roland Juno-60 synthesizer over a guitar on a trip to a music store. The first song they recorded, "Distant Memories", under the name Shades of May, was discovered and selected for a compilation album by San Diego radio station 91X in 1984, prompting them to move to San Diego.
