Mark Anthony Montgomery (born June 16, 1967) is an American entrepreneur best known for co-founding echomusic, which was sold to Ticketmaster/IAC in March 2007 for $25MM. After selling echomusic, Montgomery went on to serve as Entrepreneur in Residence at Claritas Capital, sat on the Founding Board of the Nashville Entrepreneur Center, founded flo, launched Blue Chair Bay Rum. Currently Montgomery resides just outside Nashville with his daughter and fiancé. Career In 1999, Montgomery and Neil Einstman, one of his partners in ChelseaMusic, formed echomusic, LLC, a digital marketing and distribution company which aimed to facilitate direct communication between artists and fans. Clients included Kelly Clarkson, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, Casting Crowns, the Academy of Country Music, and the Gospel Music Channel. Mark Allen Montgomery (born April 1, 1970) is an American college basketball coach for the Michigan State Spartans, currently at his second stint with the university. He previously was the head men's basketball coach at Northern Illinois University. Montgomery replaced Ricardo Patton as head coach of the Huskies on March 24, 2011. Prior to being named the head coach at NIU, he was an assistant to head coach Tom Izzo at Michigan State for 10 seasons, the last four as associate head coach. The Spartans reached the NCAA tournament in each of Montgomery's 10 seasons on the staff, including three Final Four appearances and a trip to the title game in 2009. Playing career Montgomery was a four-year letter winner at Michigan State from 1988 to 1992 where he also served as captain. Mark Montgomery (born August 30, 1990) is a minor league baseball pitcher who is a free agent. A native of Williamsburg, Virginia, Montgomery attended Bruton High School, and was drafted by the Yankees out of Longwood University in the 11th round of the 2011 MLB draft. He won the Yankees' Kevin Lawn Award for 2012. Career New York Yankees Montgomery began his career with the Class A- Staten Island Yankees of the New York–Penn League in 2011 where he pitched four games before being promoted to the Class A Charleston RiverDogs for the rest of the year. Between the two teams, he had a 1.91 ERA, 51 strikeouts, 13 walks, and 15 saves in 26 games with 28.1 innings pitched, with no win-loss record. Mark Montgomery (born 25 February 1974) is a Northern Irish sportsman who represented Northern Ireland at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi in Freestyle Wrestling and Greco Roman Wrestling finishing in 5th Place in both disciplines. The 2005 NASCAR Busch Series began with the Hershey's Take 5 300 at Daytona International Speedway and concluded with the Ford 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Martin Truex Jr. of Chance 2 Motorsports was crowned champion for the second consecutive year. The year saw at least two significant changes: *The top 30 teams in the previous season's owner points, provided that they attempted all races that season, were guaranteed starting spots in the first five races of 2005. However, only 26 teams met the criteria, so for those races additional spots were available for teams having to qualify on time. After the fifth race, the top 30 teams received the guaranteed starting spots. *The series ran on the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez road course in Mexico City in March.
