Mark Lamb (sheriff)
Mark Lamb (born July 14, 1972) is an American law enforcement officer who has served as the sheriff of Pinal County, Arizona, since 2017. A member of the Republican Party, Lamb previously served in the Salt River Pima–Maricopa Indian Community police department. Lamb has appeared on television series '' Live PD'' and ''Live PD: Wanted'', and has been featured on Fox News and Newsmax TV. In 2018, he established the American Sheriff Foundation. In 2020, he spoke at a convention of the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association and ran unopposed for re-election as sheriff. Lamb co-founded Protect America Now in 2021 and launched the American Sheriff Network later that year. In 2023, Lamb announced his candidacy for the U.S. Senate in 2024. Pinal County is in the central part of the U.S. state of Arizona. According to the 2020 census, the population of the county was 425,264, making it Arizona's third-most populous county. The county seat is Florence. The county was founded in 1875. The 2024 United States Senate election in Arizona will be held on November 5, 2024, to elect a member of the United States Senate to represent the state of Arizona. Incumbent one-term Democratic Senator Kyrsten Sinema was elected in 2018 with 50% of the vote.
