Mark Kendall (footballer, Born 1958)
Mark Kendall (20 September 1958 – 1 May 2008) was a Welsh footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He represented his country at schoolboy, youth and Under-21 level. Career Kendall, a goalkeeper, joined Tottenham Hotspur as an apprentice in March 1975, aged 16. He signed professional forms in July 1976, and went on to make his league debut on 4 November 1978 in a 2–2 draw at Norwich. However, although he spent four seasons with Spurs, he never managed to make the goalkeeper's position his own. His final full season on the club's books saw him spend a nine-game loan period, during which he saved penalties from Steve Neville of Exeter City and Mark Smith of Sheffield Wednesday, at Division 3 Chesterfield, returning to Tottenham after Barry Daines was injured during an FA Cup-tie against Manchester United. Mark Ivan Kendall (born 10 December 1961) is an English former professional association football, footballer who played in the Football League for Northampton Town F.C., Northampton Town and Birmingham City F.C., Birmingham City. He played as a goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper. Career Kendall was born in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, and attended Polesworth School. He joined Aston Villa F.C., Aston Villa in 1976. Kendall played in Aston Villa's youth teams which lost in the final of the 1978 FA Youth Cup final but were winners two years later. While with Aston Villa, Kendall was cap (sports), capped for England national football team, England at youth level, and played 18 games for the reserve team, reserves, but never appeared for the first team. He joined Football League Fourth Division, Fourth Division club Northampton Town F.C., Northampton Town on a free transfer in 1982. Mark Kendall (born 1982) is an American artist and filmmaker. He was a 2014 Guggenheim Fellow, a 2015 MacDowell Colony Fellow, and the recipient of a 2016 Pew Fellowship in the Arts. Early life and education Kendall was born in Minneapolis and raised in the Philadelphia area. He received both his B.A. (2005) and M.A. (2008) from Vanderbilt University, and a Master of Fine Arts from New York's School of Visual Arts (2011). He is an alumnus of Berlinale Talents. Work Kendall's work as a filmmaker blends documentary and fictional techniques, exploring a range of social, political, and cultural issues in unexpected ways that question conventions of value. In 2011, Kendall was selected by the Film Society of Lincoln Center and the Independent Filmmaker Project (IFP) for their inaugural “Emerging Visions” Fellowship program at the 2011 New York Film Festival. Mark A. F. Kendall (BE PhD FTSE FRSA FNAI) (born 1972) is an Australian biomedical engineer, inventor, scientist and entrepreneur. He is Founder and CEO of WearOptimo Pty Ltd and the Vice-Chancellor's Entrepreneurial Professor at the Australian National University. Kendall was formerly the Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Queensland, where he led a team at the Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology. He was Founder, CTO and a Director of Vaxxas. Prior to this, in the UK, he was a University Research Lecturer at the University of Oxford and a lecturer at Magdalen College, Oxford. Whilst at Oxford, Kendall was Associate Director of the PowderJect Research Centre for Gene and Drug Delivery.
