Mark Holden
Mark Ronald Holden (born 27 April 1954) is an Australian singer, actor, TV personality, record producer, songwriter, and barrister. He was a pop star in the 1970s and had four top 20 hit singles, "Never Gonna Fall in Love Again" (May 1976), "I Wanna Make You My Lady" (September), "Last Romance" (November) and "Reach Out for the One Who Loves You" (October 1977). Holden regularly appeared on national pop music show, ''Countdown''. Holden is remembered for his clean-cut image, his white dinner suit and his penchant for handing out carnations to girls on the set of the popular television show ''Countdown'' – he was nicknamed "The Carnation Kid". In the 1980s he worked as a songwriter in Los Angeles providing material recorded by Meat Loaf, Joe Cocker, Gladys Knight, Bob Welch and Steve Jones. Mark Michael Holden (born June 12, 1957) is an American former professional ice hockey goaltender who played eight games in the National Hockey League between 1981 and 1985: four games in the National Hockey League for the Montreal Canadiens and four games for the Winnipeg Jets. Career Selected by the Canadiens in the 1977 NHL Amateur Draft, Holden spent four years at Brown University before turning pro in 1980. For the next four seasons, he mainly played for the Canadiens' American Hockey League affiliate, making his NHL debut on January 23, 1982 against the Calgary Flames. In October 1984 Holden was traded to the Jets in exchange for Doug Soetaert Douglas Henry Soetaert (born April 21, 1955) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender. Mark Holden (born Mark Adrian Cortis; 21 September 1962; legal name Mark Adrian Holden-Aikhomu) is a British-born Canadian actor of Nigerian descent, who works in film, television, theatre and voice. He has worked extensively throughout Canada, UK, Europe and South Africa. He is best known for playing CIA handler John Lynn in the Fox Networks Group television series '' Deep State'' and playing James Morse on stage in the original London cast of '' Pretty Woman: The Musical'' at the Savoy Theatre in the West End. Mark Holden (born 21 November 1960) is an English former professional darts player, who played in the Professional Darts Corporation events. His nickname was Top Banana. Career Holden qualified for two World Matchplay between 2002 and 2003, but never got past the Last 32 stage.
