Mark Driscoll
Mark A. Driscoll (born 1970) is an American evangelical pastor and author who founded the now defunct Mars Hill Church. He is the senior and founding pastor of the Trinity Church in Scottsdale, Arizona, which was founded in 2016. In 1996, Driscoll co-founded Mars Hill Church in Seattle, Washington. In March 2014, Mars Hill Church had 14,000 members in five states and fifteen locations. He also founded The Resurgence (a theological cooperative) and co-founded other parachurch organizations, such as Acts 29 Network, Churches Helping Churches, and The Gospel Coalition. He has written for the "Faith and Values" section of ''The Seattle Times'', ''OnFaith'', and the Fox News website. Mark Driscoll (born July 28, 1953) is a former college football quarterback and athletic director at Colorado State University. Early years Driscoll was born at La Junta, Colorado, where he became a starter at quarterback as a senior. He accepted a football scholarship from Colorado State University. As a sophomore in 1972, he was coming off the bench behind quarterback Pat Juliana as a pass specialist, to spark the team in some games before suffering a shoulder sprain. In 1973, he was forced to redshirt to recover from the right shoulder surgery he had the previous year. As a junior in 1974, he came off the bench in the third quarter of the fourth game against Brigham Young University who were winning 26-6, proceeding to replace starter Jack Graham. He made 18 out 31 completions for 265 yards and a school record 4 touchdowns, in rallying the Rams to a 33-33 tie. The second season of '' 90210'', an American television series, premiered in the U.S. on September 8, 2009 and ended on May 18, 2010.
