Mark Cooksey
Mark Cooksey (born 18 January 1966 in Skegness, Lincolnshire, England) is a British video game musician, best known for his work on the Commodore 64, most notably composing the music for the platform game ''Ghosts'n Goblins''. He was employed by the UK video game developer and publisher Elite Systems. Since the demise of the Commodore 64, Mark has produced music for the Game Boy (including the Color and the Advance), the PC, the SNES and the PlayStation. Skegness
Skegness ( ) is a seaside town and civil parish in the East Lindsey District of Lincolnshire, England. On the Lincolnshire coast of the North Sea, the town is east of Lincoln and north-east of Boston. With a population of 19,579 as of 2011, it is the largest settlement in East Lindsey. It also incorporates Winthorpe and Seacroft, and forms a larger built-up area with the resorts of Ingoldmells and Chapel St Leonards to the north. The MOS Technology 6581/8580 SID (Sound Interface Device) is the built-in programmable sound generator chip of Commodore International, Commodore's Commodore CBM-II, CBM-II, Commodore 64, Commodore 128 and Commodore MAX Machine home computers. ''Commander Keen'' is a side-scrolling platform video game developed by David A. Palmer Productions and published by Activision in May 2001 for the Game Boy Color. Part of the ''Commander Keen'' series, it was released ten years after the first seven episodes in 1990–91. The game follows the titular Commander Keen, an eight-year-old child genius, as he journeys through three alien worlds to collect three plasma crystals to prevent the weapon they power, built by several enemies from previous games, from destroying the universe.
