Marit Van Eupen
Marit van Eupen (born 26 September 1969 in Arnhem) is a rower from the Netherlands. Together with Kirsten van der Kolk she participated at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney where they finished in sixth position in the lightweight double sculls. Four years later they took part in Athens at the 2004 Summer Olympics where they won the bronze medal. After those Olympics they became World Champion in 2005 (Gifu, 2006 ( Eton and 2007 ( Munich. In 2008 they became second in the Rowing World Cup meeting in Luzern and they qualified themselves for the 2008 Summer Olympics where they won Olympic Gold. Marit Rotnes (born 6 April 1928) is a Norwegian politician for the Norwegian Labour Party. She was born in Oslo and was educated first as secretary and then as social worker, and was a member of the Storting from 1981 to 1993, representing Sør-Trøndelag. Early and personal life Rotnes was born in Oslo on 6 April 1928, a daughter of Erling Gulbrandsen and Harriet Glende. She graduated as secretary in 1948, and worked as stenographer from 1948 to 1952, and then as office assistant in Lillestrøm from 1952 to 1956. She graduated in social work from Norges Kommunal- og Sosialhøyskole in 1958, and from 1962 to 1967 she was appointed as social worker in Skedsmo and in Nord-Trøndelag. Mette-Marit, Crown Princess of Norway (born Mette-Marit Tjessem Høiby, , on 19 August 1973) is the wife of Crown Prince Haakon. Haakon is the heir apparent to the throne, which means that should he ascend to the throne, she will automatically become Queen consort of Norway. A Norwegian commoner and single mother with a disadvantaged past, she was a controversial figure at the time of her engagement to Haakon in 2000. She became Crown Princess of Norway upon her marriage in 2001. The couple have two children, Ingrid Alexandra and Sverre Magnus, who are second and third in line to the Norwegian throne respectively. Marit Trætteberg, née Krogstad (28 September 1930 – 27 October 2009) was a Norwegian chemist. She was born in Ålesund. She graduated from the Norwegian Institute of Technology with the siv.ing. degree in 1954, and was hired as a lecturer in 1962. In 1969 she was promoted to docent, and in 1970 she took the dr.philos. degree. She was promoted to professor in 1974. From 1992 to 1994 she was the prorector of the University of Trondheim. Marit Arnstad (born 4 May 1962) is a Norwegian lawyer and politician for the Centre Party. She is currently the party’s parliamentary leader since 2014, having previously held the office from 2003 to 2005. Arnstad was the Norwegian Minister of Transport from 2012 to 2013 and Minister of Petroleum and Energy from 1997 to 2000. Marit Nybakk (born 14 February 1947, in Nord-Odal) is a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party, a former First Vice-President of the Norwegian Parliament, the Storting, and a former President of the Nordic Council. From 2016 to 2018 she was President of the Norwegian Association for Women's Rights, the preeminent women's and girls' rights organisation in Norway. A pragmatic social democrat and a proponent of the Third Way, she became a Member of Parliament in 1986 as the substitute for Gro Harlem Brundtland when the latter became Prime Minister. Marit Eli Paulsen (; 24 November 1939 – 25 July 2022) was a Norwegian-born Swedish journalist, author and politician for the Liberals. She was a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from 1999 to 2004 and from 2009 to 2015. Marit Sandvik (born 19 July 1956 in Harstad, Norway) is a Norwegian jazz singer. Her husband is guitarist Øystein Norvoll and their daughter is the artist Dagny Norvoll Sandvik.
