Marina (drag Queen)
Marina, previously known as Asul Marina, is the stage name of Joan López Galo ( Barcelona, 1988), a Spanish drag queen, artist, and non-binary film director. They participated in season 2 of '' Drag Race España''. Career Joan López Galo's drag persona Marina helped them reveal parts of their personality that are considered traditionally feminine, and this led to Galo coming out as non-binary. Marina threw themself completely into drag in 2011 because of a stay in Paris in which they felt free to express themself, including surpassing the binary parameters of gender. They are popularly known as "the non-binary goddess of Barcelona". Marina started her drag career in Candy Darling, a bar next to the University of Barcelona's plaza, where she worked as an artist in residence. Drag Race España
''Drag Race España'' (sometimes called ''Drag Race Spain'') is a Spanish reality competition streaming television series, produced by Atresmedia Televisión in collaboration with Buendía Estudios and executive produced by World of Wonder. It is the Spanish adaptation of the ''Drag Race'' franchise. In a similar format to the American version, the show features a crop of Spanish drag queens as they compete for a grand prize of €30,000 and the title of "Spain's Next Drag Superstar". The series is airing on ATRESplayer Premium in Spain and on WOW Presents Plus elsewhere. The first season premiered on 30 May, and concluded on 25 July 2021. The second season of '' Drag Race España'' premiered on March 27, 2022. The season aired on ATRESplayer Premium in Spain and WOW Presents Plus internationally. Maria Arnal
Maria Arnal (born 1987) is a Spanish singer. Born to a musical family, she started writing songs and playing the guitar at 18. She studied literature and translation at university, and combined this with various temporary jobs, such as working as an usher at the Teatre Lliure. After breaking her femur in 2014 she left the job and later studied singing at the Badalona School of Modern Music. There she performed and continued her training with Marc Sempere, promoter of the collective Compartir Dóna Gustet, and with Jasmin Martorell, a vocal coach who had been a disciple of Montserrat Caballé.
