Marie Rose Abousefian
Marie Rose Abousefian ( hy, Մարի Ռոզ Աբուսէֆեան) is an Armenian actress, writer, researcher, columnist, poet and stage director who has investigated historical literature, poetry and prose, portraying human tragedy, and the Armenian Genocide. She is also involved in researching the topics of national identity, human rights, women's rights and the rights of the Armenian people. Career Abousefian studied at the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia. She began working at the Arshaluys Theatre. Soon after, she joined the Yerevan Dramatic Theatre (now known as the Hrachya Ghaplanyan Drama Theatre), taking on numerous roles in television, radio, and literary and theatrical shows, filmed by Hayfilm. In 1983, she emigrated to San Francisco where she continued her career in acting. Vladimir Msryan
Vladimir Ivanovich Msryan ( hy, Վլադիմիր Իվանի Մսրյան; russian: Владимир Иванович Мсрян; 12 March 1938 – 24 August 2010) was an Armenian stage and film actor. Msryan was born in Vladikavkaz, North Ossetia-Alania. From 1958–62, he studied drama at the Yerevan Fine Arts and Theater Institute. He performed at the Yerevan Drama Theater from 1966 onwards. Aside from Armenian films he also appeared in such non-Armenian films as ''Sand-Storm'', ''White Cloth'', ''Empire of Pirates'' and ''Unburied Corpses''. He may have garnered the most attention for his portrayal of Niccolò Paganini in the 1982 Soviet Union, Soviet television miniseries. He starred in ''Whirlwind (1988 film), Smerch'' which was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 1989 Cannes Film Festival. Varduhi Varderesyan ( hy, Վարդուհի Վարդերեսյան; 19 March 1928 – 24 November, 2015) was an Armenian actress. She repatriated to Armenia in 1946, where she finished the studio of Leninakan Drama Theatere (now Gyumri, Armenia), then worked in the same theater. Since 1958, she has been one of the leading actresses of the Sundukyan Drama Theatre of Yerevan. In 1988, she won the People's Artist of the USSR. In 2002 she was declared an honorary citizen of Yerevan. Sophia Chiaureli ( ka, სოფიკო ჭიაურელი; 21 May 1937 – 2 March 2008), professionally known as Sofiko Chiaureli, was a Soviet Georgian actress. Avet Avetisyan ( hy, Ավետ Ավետիսյան - March 29, 1971) was a Soviet Armenian film actor. Biography In 1905, Avetisyan was accepted to the Nersisian School, where he participated in school plays. Before leaving for the army (in 1916), Avetisyan worked in a manufacturing shop as a student and clerk. After being discharged from the military (in 1918) he joined Hovhannes Abelyan's theater company in Baku. Avetisyan's debut performance occurred in 1918 as Voskan in Alexander Shirvanzade's Evil Spirit (Char Vogi). Then, Avetisyan went to Tbilisi with Abelyan, where he performed in an Armenian drama group (1919). During 1920-1921, Avetisyan performed with the group in Karakilisa (modern Vanadzor).
