Maria O'Brien (born 14 May 1970) is an English darts player who plays in World Darts Federation (WDF) events. Career O'Brien reached the Semi-Final of the World Masters in 2016. In 2017, she reached the Last 16 of the BDO World Trophy and won the Romanian Classic. Plymouth

BDO World Trophy
The BDO World Trophy was a major darts tournament run by the British Darts Organisation, hosted originally in February 2014 at Blackpool Tower, before it was held in May from 2016–18 in various locations. In 2019, it was held in King George's Hall in Blackburn with a three-year contract for the event to be televised by Eurosport. Rhian O'Sullivan (née Edwards; 20 January 1981) is a Welsh female professional darts player who plays in events of the World Darts Federation (WDF). Darts career O'Sullivan was a quarter finalist in the 2009 Women's World Masters. She qualified for her first BDO Women's World Championship in 2010. She defeated fellow Welshwoman Julie Gore 2–0 in the quarter-finals, and Karen Lawman 2–0 in the semi-finals. In the final, she was beaten 2–0 by Trina Gulliver. In 2011, she again reached the World Championship final after victories over Gore in the quarter-finals and Deta Hedman in the semi-finals. She was beaten 2–0 by Gulliver for the second final in a row. In 2012, O'Sullivan was defeated in the first round by top seed and eventual runner-up Hedman. Mikuru Suzuki
is a Japanese darts player. She was a two-time back-to-back British Darts Organisation (BDO) women's world champion. She plays in events of the World Darts Federation (WDF). Career Suzuki is an experienced soft-tip darts player, having competed in many tournaments and professional tours in her home country of Japan, as well as across east Asia. She began playing darts in her late twenties, winning many mainly soft-tip tournaments in Asia before becoming BDO World Champion aged 36 in 2019. Sharon Prins (also known by her married name Sharon Boxem-Prins; born 24 August 1988) is a former Dutch darts player who played in events of the British Darts Organisation (BDO). Career Prins was born in 1988 in Zoetermeer and became a darts player in 2006. Her nickname is "Racing Angel" and follows from her passion for motorcycling. Prins plays darts since 2006. She managed to qualify for the BDO Women World Championship 2013, where she lost in the semi-final to Lisa Ashton. 2018 BDO World Darts Championship
The 2018 Lakeside World Professional Darts Championship was the 41st World Championship organised by the British Darts Organisation, and the 33rd staging at the Lakeside Country Club at Frimley Green. Glen Durrant who was the defending men's champion, successfully retained his title, beating Mark McGeeney 7–6 in the final after the match went to a tie break. Durrant became the fifth player to defend a world title following his first win, after Eric Bristow, Raymond van Barneveld, Adrian Lewis and Gary Anderson. McGeeney became the second man, following Mike Gregory in 1992, to lose a world final having had darts at double to win. Lisa Ashton who was the defending women's champion, also retained her title with a 3–1 win over Anastasia Dobromyslova. World Masters (darts)
The World Masters is one of the longest-running and most prestigious of the BDO/WDF tournaments, which began in 1974. The tournament is sponsored by darts board manufacturer, Winmau. The World Masters was unusual in darts in that its sets are the best of 3 legs (first to 2) rather than the standard best of 5 legs (first to 3). It was previously the final leg of the BDO's Grand Slam title of televised majors, along with the BDO World Darts Championship, International Darts League and World Darts Trophy, until the latter two tournaments were axed in 2008. The champion is referred to as the World Master. After the collapse of the British Darts Organisation in September 2020, the World Darts Federation announced plans to launch the WDF World Masters. The World Darts Federation (WDF) is a sport governing body and (along with the PDC) a tournament organiser for the game of darts. It was formed in 1974 by representatives of the original fourteen founding members. Membership is open to the national organizing body for darts in all nations.
