Mardig Kevork Mardigian ( ar, مَاردِيْك كِيْفُورك مَاردِيْكيَان; hy, Մարտիկ Գէորգ Մարտիկեան; born 14 March 1992) is a Syrian professional footballer who plays for Hutteen as a forward or a winger. Personal life He is an ethnic Armenian. His father Kevork Mardikian is known as one of the best Syrian football players of all time. Club career Syria Mardik began his professional career in 2009 with Hutteen SC. He scored five goals in his four-seasons long spell at the Latakia based club. Bahrain After his great performance with Hutteen SC, he earned the praise and received offers from various clubs in the GCC. He finally moved on-loan to Al-Riffa SC in 2012. Mardik Tchaparian
Mardiros Tchaparian ( ar, مارديروس تشاباريان), commonly known as Mardik ( ar, مارديك, links=no), is a Lebanese former footballer who played as a striker. Active during the 1950s and 1960s, he used to play as a striker for Homenmen at club level. He was the top scorer in the 1960–61 Lebanese Premier League, scoring 15 goals during the season. Mardik also represented the Lebanon national team, scoring a hat-trick in the 1963 Arab Cup. International career On 29 February 1956, Mardik scored against Hungary after an individual effort; Lebanon lost 4–1. Hungarian forward Ferenc Puskás congratulated Mardik, and stated that he has the technique to be able to play in Europe. Mardik Martin (September 16, 1934 – September 11, 2019) was an American screenwriter of such classics as ''Mean Streets'', '' New York, New York'' and ''Raging Bull'' directed by his lifelong friend Martin Scorsese and starring Robert De Niro. Mardik Martin is among the revered screenwriters on Writers Guild of America list of 101 Greatest Screenplays. Early life Martin Mardik was born into a family of Armenian genocide survivors that fled to Iran. They later moved to Iraq. Although his family in Iraq was wealthy, he fled the country to avoid the draft and arrived in New York City in a penniless state.
