Marcus Hammond
Marcus Hammond (born 1938) is an English actor who was active in the 1960s and 1970s, playing the role of Antodus in the 1963 ''Doctor Who'' serial ''The Daleks'', as well as recurring roles in ''Z-Cars'' as PC Taylor and ''Kate'' as Stephen Graham. He also appeared in the 1966 films ''Where the Bullets Fly'', and the Hammer film ''The Plague of the Zombies ''The Plague of the Zombies'' is a 1966 British horror film directed by John Gilling and starring André Morell, John Carson, Jacqueline Pearce, Brook Williams, and Michael Ripper. The film's imagery influenced many later films in the zombie ...'' as Tom Martinus. Under his real name John Hammond, during the 1990s, he also ran "The Little Gallery" in Porlock Weir, Somerset, UK, where he sold his paintings and those of other local artists. ''Play of the Week'' is a 90-minute British television anthology series produced by a variety of companies including Granada Television, Associated-Rediffusion, ATV and Anglia Television. Synopsis From 1955 to 1967 approximately 500 episodes aired on ITV. The first production was ''Ten Minute Alibi'', produced by Associated-Rediffusion on 14 May 1956 while the earliest to survive is ''There Was a Young Lady'', transmitted on 23 July 1956 and was telerecorded (film recorded). The first production not to be transmitted live was Henrik Ibsen's ''The Wild Duck'' which was also film recorded.
