Marcus Bingham Jr.
Marcus Jerome Bingham Jr. (born July 14, 2000) is an American basketball player for Hapoel Haifa of the Israeli Basketball Premier League. He played college basketball for the Michigan State Spartans. High school career Bingham stood 6 ft 2 in (1.88 m) entering high school, starting at Central High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he did not play basketball. For his sophomore season, he transferred to Ottawa Hills High School in Grand Rapids and began playing basketball recreationally, though his friends suggested he take it more seriously. During his first two years of high school, Bingham did not do homework and often misbehaved, and he held a 1.3 grade point average at Ottawa Hills. Concerned about his future, his mother had him move to Catholic Central High School in Grand Rapids, a school with superior academics, attending on probation and ultimately improving his grades. The Michigan State Spartans men's basketball team is the intercollegiate men's basketball program representing Michigan State University. VCU Rams Men's Basketball
The VCU Rams men's basketball team is the intercollegiate men's basketball team that represents Virginia Commonwealth University. The Rams joined the Atlantic 10 Conference in the 2012–13 season after previously competing in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA). The Battle 4 Atlantis is an early-season college basketball tournament. It takes place at Atlantis Paradise Island on Paradise Island in The Bahamas, on the week of the US holiday of Thanksgiving. For sponsorship purposes, the tournament is officially named Bad Boy Mowers Battle 4 Atlantis. The games are played in the Imperial Arena, a grand ballroom which is turned into a basketball venue. The tournament is known for being the richest Division I men's early-season college basketball tournament. Schools are awarded $2 million in exchange for their participation in the men's event. Loyola Ramblers Men's Basketball
The Loyola Ramblers men's basketball team represents Loyola University Chicago in Chicago, Illinois. The Ramblers participate as members of the Atlantic 10 Conference. The Ramblers joined the Missouri Valley Conference from 2013 to 2022, ending a 34-season tenure as charter members of the Horizon League. In 1963, Loyola won the 1963 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament (then the "NCAA University Division") men's basketball national championship under the leadership of All-American Jerry Harkness, defeating two-time defending champion Cincinnati 60–58 in overtime in the title game.
