Marcus Adams (director)
Marcus Adams is a British film director. Adams has produced music videos, advertisements and full-length feature films. After leaving school, Adams went on to study at the Ballet Rambert school and later found work as a dancer and choreographer. In 1986, he co-founded the techno-industrial band Meat Beat Manifesto. He designed and choreographed their live shows and also directed their videos. Adams left the band in the early 1990s to focus on directing music videos full-time. Marcus Adams (photographer)
Marcus Algernon Adams (15 May 1875 – 9 April 1959) was a British society photographer noted for his portraits of children. Adams was born in Southampton, Hampshire, the son of Reading-based photographer Walton Adams. He began his career as an architectural photographer for the British Archaeological Association and took photographs for books by the antiquarian C.E. Keyser. With fellow photographers Bertram Park and Parks' wife Yvonne Gregory, Adams formed the "Three Photographers" group in 1920. Based at 43 Dover Street, Mayfair, they each worked independently, but shared use of printing, retouching and darkroom staff. Gaining notability for his portraits of children Adams took the first official photographs of the Duchess of York and her daughter Princess Elizabeth (the future Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother and Queen Elizabeth II). Marcus Adams (Canadian Football)
Marcus "Chunky" Adams (born July 20, 1979) is a Canadian football defensive tackle who played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL) for eight seasons. He also was on the rosters of the Edmonton Eskimos of the CFL, the Colorado Crush and Spokane Shock of the Arena Football League, and the Peoria Rough Riders of af2 throughout his professional career. He played college football at Eastern Kentucky. Adams was a backup at various defensive line positions for four seasons before he was given the opportunity to consistently start for the Roughriders. He had a breakout season in 2007, when he made a career-high 35 tackles and six sacks on his way to winning his first and only Grey Cup championship. After eight seasons with the Roughriders, Adams was released and spent brief periods of time with the Edmonton Eskimos and Spokane Shock before retiring. Marcus Adams (footballer)
Marcus Adams (born 30 June 1993) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Western Bulldogs and the Brisbane Lions in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was drafted as a mature-aged selection with pick 35 in the 2015 national draft by the Bulldogs, where he played 27 games over three seasons. Ahead of the 2019 season, he was traded to the Lions, for whom he played 46 games before retiring due to concussion issues in 2023. AFL career Adams made his debut in round 1, 2016 against Fremantle. He played a further 10 games in his debut season, before a foot injury sustained in the round 15 clash against Sydney cut short his year. Adams made his first appearance in 2017 in the round 2 grand final rematch against the Swans, as a direct replacement for injured veteran Dale Morris. Marcus Adam (born 28 February 1968) is an England, English retired sportsperson, who represented United Kingdom, Great Britain as both a Sprint (running), sprinter and a Bobsleigh, bobsledder.
