Marcelo De Oliveira Santos
Marcelo de Oliveira Santos (born 4 March 1955) is a Brazilian professional football manager and former player who last managed Ponte Preta. Playing career Club Born in Pedro Leopoldo, Minas Gerais, he was known as Marcelo during his playing days, and was an Atlético Mineiro youth graduate. Promoted to the first team in 1972, he went on to play seven seasons for the club before joining Botafogo in 1979. In 1984, after a short period at Uruguay's Nacional, Oliveira returned to Atlético. He subsequently represented Desportiva Ferroviária and América Mineiro, retiring with the latter in 1985. International Oliveira represented Brazil at under-23 level during the 1975 Pan American Games. He was included in Osvaldo Brandão's list ahead of the 1975 Copa América, and made his debut for the full side on 30 July by starting in a 4–0 home routing of Venezuela. Pedro Leopoldo
Pedro Leopoldo is a Brazilian municipality in the state of Minas Gerais. The city is located in the Greater Belo Horizonte region. As of 2020, the estimated population was 94,712. The city is birthplace to prominent medium Chico Xavier and 1970 World Champion and Cruzeiro footballer Dirceu Lopes. The municipality contains 44% of the Sumidouro State Park, created in 1980. The Casa Fernão Dias is in the Quinta do Sumidouro district of Pedro Leopoldo. It is listed by the State Institute of Historic and Artistic Heritage (IEPHA) as a cultural heritage monument. It contain exhibits that tell the history of Fernão Dias, a bandeirante who spent several years in the region with his followers in search of gold and precious stones. The 2008 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A was the 52nd edition of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A. It began on May 8 and ended on December 7. For the first time, one club has won the championship three times in a row. Alexandre Tadeu Gallo (born 29 May 1967), known as Alexandre Gallo or just Gallo, is a Brazilian football coach and former player who played as a defensive midfielder. Eugênio Machado Souto (born 15 May 1948), commonly known as Geninho, is a Brazilian football manager and former player who played as a goalkeeper. Playing career Born in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, Geninho was a product of hometown side Botafogo-SP. He made his first team debut in 1966, aged just 16, and became a regular starter in the following year. Geninho subsequently represented Francana, São Bento, Paulista, Caxias, Vitória and Novo Hamburgo, retiring with the latter in 1984 at the age of 36. The 1975 edition of the Copa América football tournament was played between 17 July and 28 October. For the first time there was no fixed venue, and all matches were played throughout the year in each country. Osvaldo Augusto Brandão (18 September 1916 – 29 July 1989) was a Brazilian football player and coach who managed Brazil in 1955, 1956, and 1957, and from 1975 to 1977 and the Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras in several times.
