Joseph Marcell
Joseph Marcell (born 18 August 1948) is a British actor and comedian. He is best known for his role as Geoffrey Butler, the butler on the NBC sitcom ''The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air'' from September 1990 until the show ended in May 1996. Born in Saint Lucia, he moved to the United Kingdom, when he was 9 years old and grew up in Peckham, South London. Marcell currently lives in Banstead, Surrey. He studied speech and dance at the Central School of Speech and Drama. Career Marcell grew up in Peckham, South East London. As a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company, he appeared in productions of ''Othello'' and ''A Midsummer Night's Dream''. He has also appeared in feature films and on television in Britain. He serves on the board of the Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London where he featured in a nationwide production of Shakespeare's ''Much Ado About Nothing'' and ''King Lear''. Marcell, Minnesota
Marcell is an unincorporated community in Marcell Township, Itasca County, Minnesota, United States. Minnesota State Highways 38 and 286 are two of the main routes in the community. Marcell is located 28 miles north of Grand Rapids. The community is located within the Chippewa National Forest. Nearby places include Bigfork, Talmoon, Bowstring, Deer River, and Effie. Despite its unincorporated status, Marcell appears on most more detailed maps of Minnesota due to the presence of several locally important businesses and the lack of larger communities in the surrounding area. In addition, it has its own post office with the ZIP code 56657. History Marcell was founded under the name ''Turtle Lake'' in 1905. Marcell Township is a township in Itasca County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 467 at the 2010 census. Marcell Township was named for Andrew Marcell, a railroad conductor. Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 57.2 square miles (148.1 km), of which 47.9 square miles (124.1 km) is land and 9.3 square miles (24.0 km), or 16.21%, is water. Demographics At the 2000 census there were 394 people, 179 households, and 132 families living in the township. The population density was 8.2 people per square mile (3.2/km). There were 567 housing units at an average density of 11.8/sq mi (4.6/km). The racial makeup of the township was 98.98% White, 0.51% African American, 0.25% Native American, and 0.25% from two or more races.
