Marcel Barrena
Marcel Barrena (born 15 October 1981, Barcelona) is a film director, screenwriter, producer and editor. Filmography In 2011 he won the Catalan Academy Award for his movie debut, Cuatro estaciones, a low budget romantic comedy that was highly appreciated by the public, both in its TV screenings as well as on the Internet. Marcel Barrena is the first director that won Gaudí Award for two different films (for "Cuatro Estaciones" and "Little World" as well). His three theatrical movies has been nominated for the Goya Awards and become hits in the Spanish industry. Cuatro Estaciones was the first TV movie to represent Spain at CinemaSpagna Festival in Rome. It also won the Best Movie, Director and FIPRESCI awards at the Festival de Alicante and best TV-Movie at the Catalan Gaudi Festival. A film director controls a film's artistic and dramatic aspects and visualizes the screenplay (or script) while guiding the film crew and actors in the fulfilment of that vision. ''Fotogramas'' is Spanish digital and print film magazine which has been in circulation since 1946. It is one of the early film magazines in Spain. History Founded in Barcelona, it was first published on 15 November 1946 by Antonio Nadal-Rodó and María Fernanda Gañán. On 5 February 1951, the magazine awarded their first Placa de San Juan Bosco award to actor Jesús Tordesillas for his performance in 1950 film ''Pequeñeces''. In the 1970s the magazine was part of the Nadal Group. New categories were added over time to the award which were renamed Fotogramas de Plata and in 2012 they absorbed the TP de Oro awards. In 2011, the magazine was acquired by Hearst Communications. In 2018, Hearst closed the editorial office in Barcelona in order to centralize editing efforts in Madrid. The 100 metres, or 100-meter dash, is a sprint race in track and field competitions. The shortest common outdoor running distance, the dash is one of the most popular and prestigious events in the sport of athletics.
