Endre Bán (1 June 1934 in Marcali, Hungary – 24 July 1995 in Szombathely, Hungary) was a Hungarian Catholic priest, theologian, and professor. Bán went to secondary grammar school in Pécs, called ''Nagy Lajos Gimnázium'', where he graduated in 1952. Béla Pap de Szill (26 March 1845 – 1 October 1916) was a Hungarian military officer and politician, who served as Minister of Defence from March to April 1906, during the Hungarian Constitutional Crisis of 1905. After finishing Theresian Military Academy, Pap involved in the Austrian Imperial Army since 1866, when he became sapper lieutenant of the 2nd Technical Regiment, which participated in the Third Italian War of Independence. In 1899, he was promoted to major general. From 1901 to 1904 he served as Chief of the 3rd Group of the Ministry of Defence. After that he was promoted to lieutenant general and appointed Department Head of the Joint Ministry of Defence of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, holding this office between 1904 and 1905. Aurél Bernáth (1895–1982) was a Hungarian painter and art theorist. He studied at Nagybánya with István Réti and János Thorma. Lake Balaton () is a freshwater lake in the Transdanubian region of Hungary. It is the largest lake in Central Europe, and one of the region's foremost tourist destinations. Balatonboglár Wine Region
The Balatonboglár wine region, also known as the South Balaton wine region, is the only one wine region in Somogy County, Hungary. The area consists of 37 settlements, mainly located on the southern shore of Lake Balaton, but also some near Kaposvár like Böhönye, Csurgó and Nagyberki. It is part of the greater Balaton wine region. Approximately two-thirds of the 3200 hectare vineyards of the wine region are white grapes and the remaining are Concord grapes. Champagne production plays an important role in the area as well. The ''Winemaker of the Year'' award has been given three times to winemakers of the region since its founding: to ''Vencel Garamvári'' in 2006, to ''János Konyári'' in 2008 and to ''Ottó Légli'' in 2010.
