Overview Mankhurd Shivaji Nagar constituency is one of the 26 Vidhan Sabha constituencies located in the Mumbai Suburban district. Abu Azmi
Abu Asim Azmi (born 8 August 1955) is a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. He represents the Mankhurd Shivaji Nagar Constituency, Mumbai. He belongs to the Samajwadi Party. He is the President of the Maharashtra state branch of the Samajwadi Party (SP). He currently represents Mankhurd Shivaji Nagar of Mumbai Suburban District in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. Politics Azmi entered politics and in 1995, under his leadership, the Samajwadi Party (SP) won two seats in the Maharashtra state assembly. Deonar Dumping Ground
The Deonar dumping ground is a waste dumping ground or landfill in the city of Mumbai. Located in Shivaji Nagar, an eastern suburb of the city, it is India's oldest and largest dumping ground, set up in 1927. The dumping ground is managed by the city's civic body, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (also known as Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai), which also manages two other dumping ground in the city; one in the neighbourhood of Mulund and one recently opened in Kanjurmarg. Ghatkopar (Pronunciation: Help:IPA/Marathi, [ɡʱaːʈkopəɾ]) is a suburb in Eastern Suburbs (Mumbai), eastern Mumbai. 2019 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Election
The 2019 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly election was held on 21 October 2019 to elect all 288 members of the state's Legislative Assembly. After a 61.4% turnout in the election, the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Shiv Sena (SHS) won a majority.
