Manfred Kniel
Manfred Kniel (born 1951) is a German drummer, percussionist and composer of jazz and free improvisation. Life and career Kniel studied percussion at the Musikhochschule Stuttgart until 1976 and has been a professional musician since 1976. From 1973 to 1984, he was a drummer in the " Crew" and in the "Jazz Inspiration Orchestra". In addition, he belonged to the quartet of Lauren Newton, whose album ''Timbre'' (re-released as ''Filigree'') was awarded the Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik. From 1984 to 1996, he toured with 's quartet, with ''Mah-Jong SaxString'', ''Jazz it'' and with his own formations ''Sweet Emma'' and ''Human Music Quintet'' (HuMus). Between 1984 and 1997, he also took part in more than 30 musical productions under the direction of Nicolas Kemmer. Markus Stockhausen
Markus Stockhausen (born May 2, 1957) is a German trumpeter and composer. His recordings and performances have typically alternated between jazz and chamber or opera music, the latter often in collaboration with his father, composer Karlheinz Stockhausen. Biography Born in Cologne, West Germany, he is the son of composer Karlheinz Stockhausen. At age four he appeared as "child at play" in his father's theatre piece '' Originale''. He received his first piano lessons at age six, and at age twelve he began to play the trumpet. He attended the music secondary school in Cologne. Concerts and festival appearances, also for the Goethe Institute, have taken him around the world. Orchestral percussion refers to the various percussion instruments used in an orchestral setting. It may also refer to the act of playing such instruments in an orchestral style. Many music schools and conservatories offer training for musicians interested in developing their skills as an orchestral percussionist. Typically, an orchestral percussionist does not specialize in one particular instrument. Mike Svoboda
Michael Svoboda (born 1960) is an American composer and trombonist who lives and works in Switzerland. Life Born in Guam, Svoboda grew up in Chicago and studied composition and conducting at the University of Illinois. In 1981, he came to Germany on the basis of a composition prize. There, he studied trombone at the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart. From 1984 to 1995, he worked as a performer with Karlheinz Stockhausen. Stefan Konrad Raab (born 20 October 1966) is a German television producer, businessman, musician, and former entertainer and television host. From 1999 to 2015, he hosted the late-night comedy talk show ''TV total'' and has also created a number of other television shows, such as ''Schlag den Raab'' and ''Bundesvision Song Contest''.
